Vicat Cole

George Vitac Cole painter.
 George Cole VITAC artist (painter) English (Inglese) (Portsmouth April 17 1833- London April 6, 1893). was the son of the landscape painter, George Cole (1810-1883). the Royal Academy beginning 'to accept the paintings of Vicat in 1853.

 
Most of his subjects (landscapes) were taken from Cole, in the counties of Surrey and Sussex, and along the banks of the Thames.

He was a regular exhibitor at the Society of British Artists, where he became a member in 1858.Fu elected ARA in 1870 and RA (Royal Academy) in 1880.
