Hofman Vlastislav

He was a really important artist. He was born in Czechoslovakia in 1884 and he died in 1964.

He is one of the most
important  exponents of
Czech Cubism not
only as a painter, but primarily
as the interior designer (furniture
designer) and stage designer.

He was very much influenced by
Cubism as an architect. He was born in
Jicinas, Bohemia and
he graduated in architecture in
Prague.

He produced a lot of great plays and films as a set designer.

His drawings of design are present at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles,
California. His works are

Hofman for his versatility has
been a leading artistic figure,
and he gained a lot of honors. Czech cubism along with
the French were the most 'important. In Prague, more 'than any other city in the world you can still find many buildings built following the architectural style of Cubist, and Cubist museums are
visited by tourists from around the world
